IAAP can be a valuable partner in your career growth. To help you get familiar with the members of the Montgomery County Chapter, we invite you to join us at one of our meetings. We meet the second Thursday of each month (except in June and December). Our meetings are held from September through June.

2010-2011 Administrative Scholarship
The Montgomery County Chapter is again offering their annual administrative scholarship to a member of the Montgomery County Chapter.
Please include the following documents with your application:
1. Cover letter indicating why you are deserving of this scholarship, the need for financial assistance, community involvement and relationship and experiences with Montgomery County Chapter, IAAP. 2. Two letters of recommendation 3. Copy of transcript from last attended educational institution with your GPA 4. Course of study 5. Choice of educational institution to attend
The Scholarship Committee in determining the scholarship recipient will use the above information as well as the following criteria; completeness of cover letter (including style, grammar, placement on paper) and Appearance of application (legible, complete, signed).

Point Schedule
As a participating member of MCC IAAP you will track your meeting and activity participation via a point schedule. The period covered is April 16, 2010 through April 15, 2011. Each year point information is collected from the Chapters to determine Division awards for the our Chapter. The point schedule is also used to collect re-certification points supporting your CPS and/or CAP certification. To document your points please download a point schedule

Mentoring Program
Growing Through Discovery: The Montgomery County Chapter has a brand new, exciting mentoring program! We have the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with others in our chapter as a mentor. A mentor is a teacher, guide, friend, listener, role model, and someone who makes suggestions and connections.
